řetízkárna festival

The Řetízkárna Festival combines culture, education, and community empowerment in the ruins at Rovnost. It has been held regularly since 2023 to celebrate the closure of the last mine—the Rovnost mine—in Jáchymov on June 1, 1961. Events include lectures, guided walks, music, theater, and much more. The festival unites people from across the region and gives the Řetízkárna, a place of suffering that the world was meant to forget, the life that it deserves.
